Motenas Japan brings together nature, adventure, and cultural experiences to help your guests discover the character of each destination. From river rafting and snow buggy excursions to hot-air balloon experiences, we incorporate seasonal and regional activities into corporate incentive trips and team-building programs.

Why Choose Motenas Japan?

1. Discover Japan Through Outdoor Experiences

Raft through a river gorge, explore snowy landscapes by buggy, or take in the scenery from a hot-air balloon. We pair these fresh perspectives on Japan’s natural surroundings with opportunities to discover local history and food traditions. From mountain hikes to cultural experiences at a temple, each itinerary offers a deeper connection to the places you visit.

2. Activities Matched to Your Group’s Abilities

We suggest accessible options for first-time participants and activities that reflect the interests of more experienced guests. Working with specialist guides and local operators, we review walking distances, elevation changes, activity durations, and participation requirements for rafting, snow buggies, and hot-air balloons. We also account for different experience levels within your group.

3. Shared Adventures That Bring Teams Together

Calling out to one another while rafting or sharing the excitement of an unfamiliar landscape gives colleagues a chance to connect in a new setting. We plan around your goals for multinational team interaction, incentive travel, or corporate training, with opportunities for group reflection and shared meals after the activities.

Past Experience and Sample Itineraries

Please note: The first example describes a program we have delivered. Examples 2 and 3 are illustrative itineraries. Available arrangements vary by location, season, group size, and participation requirements.

Past Experience 1 | A Monk-Inspired Mountain Hike and Cultural Experiences at a Temple

Group size: 12 participants
Purpose: Team building and an introduction to Japanese culture for colleagues from overseas offices
Duration: One day

Inspired by the discipline of a monk’s training, this cultural tour began with a mountain hike, followed by samurai activities, cultural exchanges with geisha, and taiko drumming at a temple. The program combined time immersed in the mountain landscape with opportunities to experience Japanese traditions in a distinctive temple setting. Moving from outdoor activity to cultural interaction, the itinerary introduced participants to different facets of Japan.

Sample Itinerary 2 | Bringing Multinational Teams Together Through River Rafting

Group size: 24 participants
Purpose: Team building for multinational colleagues and connections across departments
Duration: One day

This itinerary combines river rafting with a group reflection session and a meal featuring local cuisine. Calling out and paddling together gives colleagues an opportunity to connect outside their usual working environment. We select a course suited to the participants’ experience and fitness, and adjust group arrangements and activity duration accordingly.

Sample Itinerary 3 | Seasonal Adventures for a Corporate Incentive Trip

Group size: 16 participants
Purpose: Incentive travel and opportunities for colleagues at a global company to connect
Duration: Two days, one night

Depending on the destination and season, the itinerary can feature a snow buggy excursion through winter scenery or a hot-air balloon experience with views from above. We combine the selected activity with regional cuisine, Japanese cultural experiences, and a social gathering at your accommodation. Group rotations and waiting times are planned around vehicle and balloon capacity.

Let’s Plan Your Japan Adventure

Tell us what you would like to experience, your preferred dates and group size, and your participants’ experience levels and trip objectives. You do not need to have specific activities in mind—we can help shape a program that brings adventure and Japanese culture together.

Outdoor activities may need to be changed or canceled due to weather or local conditions. Participation requirements and preparation details will be provided with your proposal.
