Scope of These Terms
These Terms of Use set out the conditions for using the experience programs, events, training programs, and other services provided by the Company.
For transactions that constitute a Package Tour Contract, an Agent-Arranged Tour Contract, or a Travel Consultation Contract under the Travel Agency Act of Japan, the Company’s Travel Agency Terms and Conditions apply instead of these Terms. Please see Travel Agency Registration & Terms.
Payment Method
Bank transfer only.
Payment Deadline
Individual customers: Payment is due within 7 days of booking confirmation. If the event date falls within 7 days of booking confirmation, payment is due within 24 hours of confirmation.
Corporate customers: Payment is due by the day before the event date.
Cancellation and Refunds at the Customer’s Request
To cancel a booking, please contact us by phone or email. Cancellation fees are as follows.
Up to 34 days before the booked date
If the booking is confirmed, a cancellation fee of 50% of the booking amount applies.
From 34 days before the booked date until the day of the event
If the booking is confirmed, a cancellation fee of 100% of the booking amount applies.
Cancellation policies may differ for certain instructors and venues. Where a different policy applies, we will inform you in advance and charge in accordance with that instructor’s or venue’s policy.
Cancellation and Refunds at the Company’s Request
If the service is not provided at all due to circumstances on the Company’s side, the Company will refund the full amount paid.
If the service is only partially provided due to circumstances on the Company’s side, the Company will refund the portion of the amount paid corresponding to the part not provided.
Except for the refunds described above, the Company bears no liability for its inability to provide the service.
Disclaimer
Where the Company is liable to a user for damages in connection with the use of its services, the Company shall be liable only for direct and ordinary damages actually incurred by the user (excluding special damages such as lost profits, and excluding attorneys’ fees).
The Company makes no warranty as to the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or usefulness of any information obtained by users through its services.
If a user causes damage to a third party in the course of using the services, the user shall resolve the matter at their own cost and responsibility, and the Company bears no liability.
Rebooking and Rearrangement
Where the provision of a service is delayed or suspended due to an earthquake, traffic congestion or delay, negligence attributable to the user, or any other cause not attributable to the Company, the Company may, taking these circumstances into account, make rebooking or rearrangement requests to the relevant parties. However, any costs required for such rebooking or rearrangement, and any cancellation fees charged by the originally scheduled accommodation or transport providers, shall be borne by the user.
Use of Case Studies
Unless you notify us otherwise, details of the program carried out on the day may be published on the Motenas Japan website, on social media, and in case study materials. Any such publication will comply with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and other applicable laws.

Governing Language
These Terms are an English translation provided for reference. In the event of any discrepancy between the Japanese version and this English translation, the Japanese version shall prevail.
