Why Choose Motenas Japan?

1. Time to Enjoy Japan’s Seasonal Landscapes

Follow a trail through seasonal greenery, canoe across a quiet lake, spend time fishing by the water, or settle into the stillness of a forest campsite. Alongside farming experiences and fruit picking, the possibilities vary with the destination and season. We plan comfortably paced itineraries with time for breaks, taking your participants’ ages, fitness levels, and travel times into account.

2. Experiences That Connect Nature and Culture

Time spent discovering local culture adds another dimension to Japan’s scenery. We bring the two together through experiences such as a tea ceremony or a meal featuring regional cuisine before or after a nature walk, giving your guests a richer sense of the places they visit.

3. Coordinated Support for International Guests

Alongside nature experiences, we can help arrange local guides, interpreters, transfers, meals, and accommodation. We discuss language and dietary requirements in advance, balancing enjoyable time outdoors with comfort throughout your guests’ stay.

Past Experience 1 | A Mountain Hike with Calligraphy and Tea at a Temple

Group size: 10 participants
Purpose: Team building and Japanese cultural exchange with colleagues visiting from overseas offices

After hiking one of Japan’s well-known mountains, participants experienced calligraphy and a tea ceremony at a renowned temple on the mountain. The day brought together time in nature and an introduction to Japanese culture through brushwork and tea. For similar programs, we adapt the hiking route, walking pace, and cultural activities to suit your group’s fitness levels and preferences.

Sample Itinerary 2 | A Relaxed Day of Canoeing or Fishing

Group size: 20 participants

Activities are selected according to the season and your participants’ preferences, with time for photographs and conversation as the group enjoys Japan’s waterside scenery.

Sample Itinerary 3 | A Corporate Camping Retreat in Nature
