While it normally requires lining up before opening hours in the early morning, guests who reserve this tour through Motenasu Japan will receive their Tsuitachi-mochi prepared in advance and handed to them exclusively.
Oshi Cuisine Dining Experience
In the Edo period, Oshi played a vital role in organizing pilgrimages known as “Oise-mairi.”
A visit to the Oshi Maruoka Sōdayū Residence—the sole surviving Oshi residence—offers insight into Edo-era daily life and devotional practices.
