In May 2026, IMEX Frankfurt — one of the world’s largest trade shows dedicated to MICE and incentive travel — was held in Frankfurt, Germany. It brings together people from across the global meetings, events, and incentive travel community, with a strong presence from Europe. We at Cresson Co., Ltd., the company behind Motenas Japan, were glad to be part of it.
This time, we took part as a co-exhibitor at the “Tokyo Booth” organized by the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau (TCVB). As one of the members of the Tokyo Booth, which works to attract MICE business to Japan, we had a valuable opportunity to meet face to face with buyers and planners who had traveled from all over the world.
During the show, our representative also took to the stage to introduce the work of Motenas Japan. How far can our philosophy — delivering Japanese traditional culture as a hands-on experience — travel across borders? Standing before an audience of different languages and cultures, it proved to be a moment that renewed our sense of both the response we received and the possibilities ahead.
Time spent with the tea ceremony, traditional performing arts, or the craft of an artisan is never simply about watching. By being there and taking part, the depth of Japan reveals itself, little by little. Perhaps it is precisely in a place as international as Frankfurt that this value comes into sharper focus.
